Unclaimed Benefits Reunification
Over R90 billion in unclaimed financial assets belongs to South Africans. We help you find and claim what is rightfully yours.
South Africa's R90 Billion Crisis
South Africa faces a massive unclaimed financial assets crisis. Millions of citizens — particularly from marginalised communities — are unaware that they or their late family members are entitled to substantial financial benefits.
These assets are held by pension funds, insurance companies, and investment firms — waiting to be claimed. Without expert help, most people never access what they are legally owed.

How the Reunification Process Works
Register
Submit your details and a brief description of the potential claim. Registration is free.
We Investigate
Our expert team searches multiple databases to identify potential unclaimed benefits in your name.
We Claim
We compile all required documents and submit the claim on your behalf, handling all administration.
Benefits Paid to You
Upon a successful claim, the holding institution — the pension fund, insurer, or financial institution — pays the recovered benefits directly to you. Our administration fee is settled separately between Second Chance SA and the institution. There is no deduction from your payout.
Fair, Accessible, Transparent
Important: Our administration fee is paid by the holding institution (the bank, pension fund, or insurer) upon successful release of your benefits — not by the beneficiary. Your full benefit amount is paid directly and in full to you.
For Indigent Clients
At least 30% of all our unclaimed benefits services are provided completely free of charge. For qualifying indigent clients, Second Chance SA absorbs all costs — you pay absolutely nothing.
- Zero cost to the beneficiary at all times
- No upfront or hidden registration fees
- Full benefit amount paid directly to you
- Free financial literacy coaching included
- Free document and claims assistance
Institution-Settled Fee
Our administration fee — capped at 15% — is settled directly with the holding institution (pension fund, bank, or insurer) upon successful release of your claim. This fee is never charged to or deducted from the beneficiary's payout.
- Fee is paid by the institution, not the beneficiary
- Your full benefit is paid directly to you — untouched
- No-win, no-fee: we only earn when you receive your benefits
- Maximum 15% cap — negotiated with the institution
- Complete fee transparency before any claim is submitted
